Final preparations for the garden shows are the primary activity at this time in the nursery. The forcing houses are full of the very best trees and a wonderful selection of planted container gardens for the San Francisco Garden Show as well as the new Cal State Show in Sacramento. For the first time we are creating a garden for the Southern California Spring Flower and Garden Show.

We have the first stirrings of spring are here at the nursery. In the typical wet, gray Northern California weather we are seeing the buds just beginning to swell. I feel the urge to plant but I must wait so I will dream and plan in anticipation of the arrival of spring. Enjoy your trees, Tricia
