ACER palmatum Olson's Frosted Strawberry

Bright strawberry red first emergence, slowly pink suffuses the leaf along the vein as the spring progresses. Graceful deeply divided leaves with serrated edges gently curve at the tips. I have not seen this tree in it's mature form however, I believe it will be typical for this group, wide spreading with cascading branches. Olsen's Frosted Strawberry is slow growing and needs protection from intense heat.
