Acer shirasawanum Jordan
Emerging a lovely pastel orange changing to stunning bright yellow through the summer with red seeds that push up above the leaves. Introduced by Fratelli Ghiradlli and named after his son, this tree provides it's best color and thrives with full sun. Once mature the leaves have the typical 9-11 lobes found with the shirasawanum. A vigorous upright tree. At last a yellow tree for the colder climates!
