Acer shirasawanum Mr. Sun

A happy new Acer shirasuwanum cross with sharply pointed lobes that curl slightly under. Pale green on emergence changing to a medium green though the summer and golden yellow for the fall. The overall effect is light and happy. Discovered by Talon Buchholz and named for its resemblance to a childs drawing of the sun, upright in form with a medium growth rate, excellent cold tolerance.
